Web hosting is one of those things that you can go right or really wrong with. There are plenty of hosts out there that promise an affordable web hosting plan. If you are not about quality there is some very cheap web hosting but you may be disappointed should you need some help. Also, you want a webhost that will work hard to make sure your sites stay live and accessible 99.99% of the time. HostGator.com is one of those hosting companies I have used for a couple of years now and found them to be really good in many areas. While they are not the cheapest hosting company out there, they are pretty inexpensive, and they let you choose from a super cheap shared hosting plan, or a good reseller plan that won’t kill your bank account.
I wanted to give a basic overview of what Hostgator offers, then you can be the judge.
I would say for the price you get a solid host if you go with Hostgator. I guess this has been kind of like a HostGator
review, but they have worked for me, and I know their system very well. And as a side note HostGator has some good deals on Dedicated servers as well. They
have fully managed cheap dedicated hosting on both linux and windows servers.
So, you can start out small with HostGator, and as your website and business grow - you can migrate over to a more expensive and
robust plan within Host Gator.
